Richard Sinclair, President, Chesapeake Region

A 30-year veteran of the banking and commercial finance industries, Richard Sinclair joined Presidential Financial in 1992 to open the company’s Chesapeake office, which has since financed hundreds of businesses in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. As President of the Chesapeake Region, Sinclair oversees the region’s marketing, business origination, portfolio management, operations and field examination. For eight years, he also held these responsibilities in Presidential’s Midwest Region.

Prior to joining the company, Sinclair served in many management positions at Equitable Bank/Maryland National Bank during an 18-year tenure. In his last assignment, as Director of Network Optimization, he was responsible for merging the banking centers of Equitable and Maryland National Banks. Other posts included serving as Regional Vice President for Equitable’s Community Banking Division and as a Vice President for the Commercial Banking Division.
