ATLANTA—Dec. 9, 2008—Presidential Financial Corporation has hired Lewis Chan as vice president, business development. Chan brings more than 10 years of commercial finance experience to the privately held asset-based lending company. He will be based in the company’s Atlanta headquarters.

Chan has more than 10 years of commercial finance experience with an emphasis on business origination, strategic marketing and sales. Before joining Presidential, he was associate vice president, business development at Textron Financial Corporation in Alpharetta, Ga. He began at Textron as a senior sales associate in 2004. Previously, Chan was a collateral examiner at Wells Fargo Business Credit in Atlanta and prior to that he was a collateral analyst at GE Capital Business Credit in Charlotte, N.C. Chan holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and finance from Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, N.C.
